How To Make a Negroni Sbagliato
It’s Negroni Sbagliato time. I absolutely love this drink. Love it so much that it was a specialty cocktail served at our wedding. Part of what makes it so great is that it is equal parts of each ingredient and made in the glass it is served in.
The drink was accidentally invented in Milan at Bar Basso when a bar owner was making a Negroni and accidentally grabbed Prosecco instead of gin. Hence the name “Sbaglioato” which means “mistaken” or “incorrect” but it is quite the happy accident. This drink is the love child of a Negroni and an Aperol Spritz, a little lower ABV than a Negroni, but a little higher than ABV than an Aperol Spritz. If you haven’t had one before, give it a try… it just may be your new favorite drink.
